Interim schools chief Howard A. Burnett will hold a public forum to
solicit suggestions for the next budget on Nov. 2 at 7 p.m. at High
Point High, 3601 Powder Mill Rd., and on Nov. 3 at 7 p.m. at Flowers
High, 10001 Ardwick-Ardmore Rd.

The Parents Assisting Teachers Program "PAT" is a new initiative
designed to bring immediate support to teachers in the classroom.
Through November 18th, the school system is soliciting volunteers
(initially 5 per school), who will be trained in December
specifically to assist classroom teachers beginning in
January/February of this school year. Please call me at 301-552-4294
