ANNOUNCEMENTS
*** FREE DOCUMENTARY FILM PREVIEW ***
TESSAMATUCK, a documentary film by journalist Susan Gervasi, will be
previewed on Wednesday, Feb. 8, at 7:00 p.m. at St. John's Broad Creek
Episcopal Church, 9801 Livingston Road, Fort Washington, Maryland,
20744. Refreshments will be served.
The film has been honored by the Greenbelt Film Festival; the issue has

The film's theme is a bitter battle between neighbors and land
development in a quiet Prince George's County community. It describes a
struggle about building a subdivision, instead of saving a Native
American archeological field of national importance. African American
historians, Native Americans, religious leaders, politicians and
community leaders are featured, as are the land developer and the
County's Chief Planner.
