March 28th is Earth Hour (http://www.earthhourus.org/main.php). At
8:30pm local time, on the last Saturday in March, participants are
asked to turn off their lights for one hour in order to draw
attention to the link between our energy use and global climate
change. Earth Hour began in 2007 in Sydney Australia and is now a
global event, with 934 cities and towns in 80 countries officially
participating. Several UUA staff will be participating, including
the entire Congregational Stewardship Services Team!

Albert Einstein stated, 'The Greatest Thing you can do for the planet
is to become a Vegetarian.' The UN reported that Livestock Farming
causes ~20% of all Greenhouse Gases, whereas all transportation
accounts for only 13% of GHG's.
