The Bridge is an exciting and entertaining way to unite progressive
artist communities, activist / human rights communities and concerned
peoples to e! mpower and educate. We aim to address the age / culture
gaps by the bringing together of teens with elders, eclectics with
conservatives, rich with poor and so on. It is imperative in the
times we find ourselves to make extra efforts to coalesce the minds,
resources and dreams of communities that have previously only orbited
around each other, or worse yet avoided one another entirely. Our
series presents an innovative way to do this very thing.

----------------------------About us---------------------------

Real University has emerged into the world via its sociopolitical
information Internet publication Monition E-Zine. RU now has the
objective to reach / create a diverse and socially motivated
community by producing The Bridge E-vents. By connecting these
E-vents with community organizations, we create a positive end
benefit for every event. As we present community aid organizations,
we hope to bring them resources in the form of monetary donations as
well as to generate human capital to further the organizationís
resource base. This is to counteract the criticism of social
gatherings with no visible or tangible outcome.

The Chashama Theater, which is in the heart of Times Square NYC,
presents the opportunity to reach people who would normally not
attend an event of this type. Chashama is well known for their
community work via the arts and innovative media exhibits. They are
also widely recognized for being extremely generous by supplying
their venues free of charge as a community resource. This was most
notably represented when Chashama & RU produced the first open-to-the
public discussion forum the Saturday following the tragedy of 9/11
while supplying the primary vigil space for the Times Square region.
This was covered by WCBS-TV and other local / national /
international media.

WBIX.org, WBAI radio IN EXILE -- broadcasting on the Internet 24/7
community radio -- is a global gathering of audio refugees made of WBAI
radio fired, banned, and exiled producers, staff, and listeners based
in NYC with offices in Washington DC. Currently, WBIX.org produces a
live Webcast E-vent once a month. WBIX.org has a built-in live and
on-line audience. In addition, WBIX has broadcast to more than 11 FM
radio stations in addition to other media outlets. WBIX.org will be
broadcasting the E-vent live, and providing special guests drawn
from relationships with an abundance of respected journalists,
researchers, community leaders and the like. WBIX.org often streams
with the Independent Media Center, which adds exposure to the overall
production as does the notable figures presented throughout
WBIX.orgís regular broadcast.

------We want you be an active part of The Bridge------
We are building a cooperative of community organizations, media,
artists, various companies and concerned individuals. I! t is our
belief that anyone that is interested in helping people in any way
possible has a place at our table. We are seeking letters of
endorsement as well as promotional materials for on-site distribution
during the E-vents. We will provide prominent on-site and
E-promotions for all endorsers.

Take care and looking forward to seeing you there.
