I am pleased to report that affordable first editions of Peacock can
still be found. I received my copy today of a first edition of <I>Gryll
Grange</I> which cost me £15.00 (+£5.76 postage). The condition of the
book is only fair, but it's a lot cheaper than some of the copies
available: some copies sell for as much as US$300.
Also, for those who can read Castillian, the University of Huelva has
recently published El Mock-Symposium en las novelas de T.L. Peacock: una
deuda con los clásicos by Rocío Ramos Ramos. More information is
