Reading Archives: Restoring Order  Rory Litwin

Progressive Archivists:

I want to bring your attention to professor Richard Cox's review of
the book, Restoring Order: The Ecole des Chartes and the Organization
of Archives and Libraries in France, on his blog, Reading Archives:

http://readingarchives.blogspot.com/2008/09/restoring-order.html

Dr. Cox gave the book an attentive reading and explains its
contribution well. The book has value for progressive archivists in
its revisionist history of an important place and time in archival
science.

Thanks,

Rory
