Hawker batteries  William Miller

Ray:

We use IBE because we think they are a good quality battery. We want to
verify this in light of new batteries and new suppliers.

Does anyone have experience with the Hawker batteries?

Thanks again,

William Miller

Besides the better warranty, the HUP cells are not welded together,
but have removable buss bars, that allow individual cells to be
replaced or for moving.
My supplier shows higher cost and lower cycle life for the IBEs as
well. (2100 cycles for HUP vs. 1500 cycles, both at 80% DOD)
What other factors are making you consider them? I used to use
Bulldogs before HUP dropped their pricing a few years ago. The
Bulldogs are rated similar to the IBEs, and after 10 years, all is
well so far with those installs.
