Hi,

I have written a book which has just been released by Galago Publishing.
The book's title is 'Sunday, Bloody Sunday - A Soldier's War in Northern
Ireland, Rhodesia, Mozambique and Iraq'. It is the biography of
Rhodesian Jake Harper Ronald who served in 1 Para in Northern Ireland,
the SAS and Selous Scouts in Rhodesia and then Special Branch and the
CIO in Zimbabwe, where he was an asset of South African, British and
American Intelligence. After this period he was a contract soldier in
Mozambique under an organisation called Defence Systems Limited working
for LOMACO (A division on Tiny Rowlands LONRHO). At the end of his
service in Mozambique, Jake loitered on civvy street for a period. In
his mid fifties he was diagnosed with cancer but went on to conduct two
tours in Iraq doing security and close protection. He died two weeks
after the book was completed in 2007.

The book is a must read for those people who knew Jake, as well as for
anyone with an interest in the period. It is available on the web at
http://www.galago.co.za/

Sincerely

Greg Budd
