The Seven Watchmen<http://astore.amazon.com/rhodesiansworldw/detail/1439250197/>'
by David Ruppert.

*The Seven Watchmen*

It is a time when southern Africa teeters on a precipice. In Zimbabwe,
government-orchestrated thugs engage in ethnic cleansing while neighbouring
countries and Western powers turn a blind eye.

But when a Zimbabwean minister is murdered 5000 miles from home, the British
and American governments must scramble for political cover.

Now the question is: who is responsible? And in Washington, D.C., a retired
army general and young lawyer discover themselves embroiled in an
international conspiracy behind the answer: at the highest levels of
governments, across the globe, and within an elite secret society known only
as The Seven Watchmen.

*Background:*

David Ruppert was born in Washington, D.C. and educated in America and at
Oxford University, England.

He served as a Captain in the United States Marine Corps before continuing
his graduate studies and earning a law degree.

*The Seven Watchmen<http://astore.amazon.com/rhodesiansworldw/detail/1439250197/>
* is Mr. Ruppert’s debut novel and was inspired from his interest in
history, foreign affairs, and the modern politics of southern Africa.

Ruppert is married with two children and lives in Arlington, Virginia, USA.

*Why Did You Choose To Self-Publish Your Book?*

With the extensive barriers to entry for the first-time author,
self-publishing was an attractive alternative. The ability to have a
hands-on participation in the publishing process was also a reason. It was
important to be able to retain control over the characters, the plot, and
other aspects of the book that might have otherwise been altered or lost by
turning one’s efforts over to a large publishing house. The inherent
flexibility of self-publishing and the reduced costs of doing so made
self-publishing a good way of getting a book to print and into the
marketplace quickly and efficiently.

Orders may be placed with Crest Publishing in South Africa at
