Sparkling Pear Soup with Banana Berry Sherbert

1 pkg. (16 oz.) Diced Pears in Light Syrup
1-1/2 cups sparkling apple cider, divided
1 ripe medium Banana
12 Strawberries
1 container (8 oz.) low-fat strawberry yogurt
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Combine pears and 1 cup sparkling apple cider in blender or food processor container. Cover; blend 5 to 10 seconds. Pour into large bowl or container, cover; refrigerate.

Combine banana, strawberries, yogurt, remaining 1/2 cup sparkling apple cider, sugar, and cinnamon in same blender container. Cover; blend until smooth. Pour into 8 or 9-inch square pan, cover; freeze 2 hours or until frozen.

Place 3/4 cup pear soup in fancy stemmed glass or soup bowl. Using a melon baller, scoop 4 to 5 balls of banana berry sherbet into each bowl, dipping melon baller into hot water after each use.
