are we SURE the hi pointe theater is back open? i know it closed about 2 months ago...a quick google search shows no shows listed...

The original email I got said this was to be shown at Meramec College and maybe it still is, BUT how cool that the Hi-Pointe theatre is open for this (and the Par Lounge is whatever they've turned the old Hi Pointe bar into).

Hi-Point Opens to Premiere Film Gashole, Filmakers at Screenings June 13-15
With skyrocketing gas prices threatening St. Louisian's famous summer commuter flirting, StLouisGreen.com, St. Louis Regional Clean Cities Program and The Film Racket have teamed up to provide a sustainable answer. Starting Friday, June 13 at 6:00 p.m. and 8:15 p.m. the Hi-Pointe Theatre at 1005 McCausland Ave, St. Louis, MO 63117, ironically under the shadow of our favorite , giant Amoca sign at Clayton Rd. and McCausland Ave., will premiere The Film Racket's new documentary, GasHole. The film, naarated by Peter Gallagher, tackles the enormously timely issue of gas consumption and alternative fuel. A premiere party next door at the Par Lounge will follow the 8:15 p.m. showing on Friday, June 13th.
