Satan: A Message to A Kid

(This is an e-mail response to a student message stating interest in and
asking about turning to the occult “spirit world” for miracles and a
different kind of “religion”. I have edited parts out.)
Hello again!
No, I’m not going to try to figure out who e-mailed me, unless you want
me to! Your question is extremely important for all and is not really
that uncommon! You might want to talk with others, too, such as your
priest, a religion teacher, etc.? However, you wrote me first, and I
need to reply.
Yes, all through history there have been Satanic and just human attempts
to do miracles and wonders and to take God’s people away from Him with
these wonders. Think about the differences between what witches do and
what God does.
First, anything that is not from God is very well likely to want to harm
you. Yes, you can ask for anything you want. Go up on the mountain with
Satan, and he will promise you anything, IF you bow down to him! Hitler
certainly did. Look at how he was tricked -- a 1,000 year empire! Yea,
sure, it lasted 12 years and killed 50 million people, some in horrible
ways. Suppose these witches and devils, etc. give you what you think you
want? Why not? They not only don’t care if it will hurt you and those
about whom you care, they actually want it to do that! How about the
whole mega $150 million?
What if God won’t give it to you? Well, what if Satan will? Are you
ready to have family and friends kidnapped and tortured and killed for
ransom? Or how about YOU,aAre you ready for that for you? God promises
NOT to grant anything that is bad for you.
Look at all the really rich and famous. How many have suffered horrible
lives? Died of drug OD? Died alone without God? Did they take one cent
with them? You know that one. Were many of them REALLY happy? All that
Satan and his little helpers want is to hurt you as much as possible and
then take you from God and with them to Hell, where the wonderful demons
can eat on your body for a trillion years! Miracles? NO! Tricks? Oh
yeah!
Do other forces have some god-like powers? Sure, they always have. They
go either to Satan or to some type of current science that only they
know at the time and do this stuff. At first, they even gave Moses
trouble, and he was backed by the GREAT I AM. At first they matched
trick for trick, and then He blew them away!
Are the miracles of the Bible and of Christ real? Sure they are. I had
two years of seminary. In one course, I learned that the ancient
documents that support the Bible are far closer to their original
sources and writers than ANY of the writings that scholars accept 100%
to use to write their factual history books! The Bible and the writings
of the Church were not just made up years
or centuries later to fool people. If this is true, then how on earth
could anyone back then have ever had the imagination for the miracles of
Christ, or the miracles of the Old Testament? No, Christ, His prophets,
and His followers actually did all these things with the Power of God
through their faith.
And how about miracles today? We can bury all the witches with the
miracles which God has done for us! There were several times, because of
my awful driving, that I really should have been killed. Well, my
Guardian Angel and God’s Protection were with me. Not some witch. When I
was selling men’s clothes, I would pray that God would give me an
“instant credit” on a certain day, since we got paid for these. Well,
the whole day would go by, and then at the last minute one or maybe two
or even three would come through! How about asking God for a specific
GPA for my daughter when she was in college and He “says” ok, and then
it comes in the mail exact to the first decimal place?!
Stay away from witches and from Satan! They intend only to harm and
then to destroy you. And I do not care how nice the involved people
seem, since Satan can have them fooled, too! You stay with the Name
that is above every name, the Name at which everything in the universe
will bow down, Jesus Christ.
