QRYTEXT: The information I have of William at this point follows:
William (M?) BATSON born 1828 in the state of Illinois.
Wife Catherine (?) born 11-2-1833 in the state of Illinois.
1854-1866 The family lived in the state of Iowa (per children birthplaces in
1870 census).
1868-1913 Family lived in the state of Missouri, Worth County. (per
children's births, census, newspapers, church records, childrens marriages.
William & Catherine has a total of 10 children.
7-22-1902 Catherine Batson died Parnell, Worth Co, Mo.
4-7-1913 William Batson died in Parnell, Worth Co, MO.
Both are buried in the Parnell/Rose Hill Cemetery in Worth Co, MO.
What is the earliest birth year mentioned in the book??
My guess is if it went back before 1826 (I figure it probably does...)Then
there must have been an offshoot that moved to the north, as all of the
states you mention are in the south. (Since my William was born in Illinois).
Why he then moved down to Iowa and then Missouri, I have no idea. At least
not yet :-).
Any help you might offer is very much appreciated !!
Connie
