SUMO ###86 Trail Report 25th July 2004.
Start / Finish: Naganuma on the Keio-sen, Hare: STIMULATE-HER
On a sunny Sunday (duh!)about 20 or so souls + one hare, met.
The trail was well planned and tricky CBs kept most of the pack bunched
leading us eventually thru STIM's favourite park. Thankfully on such a
hot day the first on-ins were <1 hour.
Virgins: Just-Amanda's friends – Aussies Nick and John – welcome to the
Sumo hash. Amanda herself was a 5-Xer and may get a suitable name next
time (actually we are already spoilt for choice from all her antics and
unique character). 10-Xer was TEXAS-T-BAG and 50Xer CAMEL-TOE supporting
a short summer haircut. Open nominations netted the hare (naturally)
and MAJOR-LOOSER (who had ample down-downs because this is his last
Sumo) nominated HEADSHOT for something to do with a torso in the woods –
don't worry it was made of plaster (this time). CHUCK-CHUNDA nearly
succumbed to heat-stroke yet BUTR seemed hardly to work up a sweat (why
????). Then there were the strolling ladies still gabbing away –
SAITAMA-MAMA, 4F, Just-Amanda and Megumi-chan. Still they seemed happy
enough. Fast boy CHIMPO got a drink for speeding despite the heat (or
was he in heat too?). Then it was time for the hare to have a
humanitarian drink for kindness to the pack by deliberately cutting the
planned trail in half, deferring to the effects of Global warming. But
we had to acknowledge the delights of watching the girls in their
bikinis take an al fresco shower provided by SHRUB (see photos). And
FUGU, who knows all about strange accents, questioned PRINCESS-BUBBLES'
hash call that sounds more like the mating moan of a lonesome old moose
in a remote valley seeking a distant mate who is deaf and deliberately
ignoring him. Welcome backs were for I-DO and FERTILIZE-HER and F-Offs
for MAJOR-LOOSER and 4F (happy trails and take care you guys). As we
relaxed into our drinks and snacks, the tales came out of renting pet
dogs by the hour in Yoyogi park so that guys can nampa the ladies there,
and about magic jelly-fish in Australia that have similar effects to
viagra which leads on nicely to the natural mystery of the Solomon Isles
worms that, while keeping their heads in the mud, synchronistically with
the moon phase release their gonads which then to go forth into the
ocean and make whoopee in a frenzied orgy that the fisherman also enjoy.
In answer to your question ICE-DELIGHT, they are called Palolo worms.
The on-after party at our usual Italian venue in Hachioji where we were
joined by FLYING-FROG and SHORT-FUSE and listened to SHRUB's sticky
stories, rounded off a near perfect Sumo hashing day. Oh yeah, then we
just had to go to the Galway for a Guinness.
Next week: Sunday 1st August Kita-Hachioji on the Hachiko-sen @ 2 PM.
I'll see you on trail! On On.
***NEWS JUST IN*** Chiang-Mai Thailand won the Interhash bid in Cardiff,
so pencil in 27-29 October 2006.
