SUMO #97 Indian Summer Run Fun  Head Shot
 Dec 10, 2004 20:18 PST

SUMO #97nd, 5th December, 2004. INDIAN SUMMER RUN.
Start/finish: Zama. Hare: TEXAS-T-BAG. Driver/beer/entertainments:
Tx-T-BAG.
25 degrees C! What a beaut day, windy too!   So the gods and the sun
were shining on this exemplary trail through the mounts and mores of
rivery Zama. Much of it happened to be along CHUCK-CHUNDA's daily jog
route - a "Busman's Holiday" of sorts, but she pretended not to know the
way although it was her and GEKKO who broke several of the checkpoints.
FUGU was a bit reserved about pushing KOFUGU's buggy up some of the
steeper climbs but UP-DA-LADDER seemed to cope with PUFFER's.   We went
through several shines with cool statues including one of a kid mooning
the visitors - tastefull. The goal was a park wherein the honourable
hare treated us to a keg of BECK's washed down with Heineken. He then
entertained us by picking up a half dozen kids on the other side of the
see-saw. Here are some protagonists:
BENTORE 30, UPDALADDER 14, FUGU 32, PUFFER 14, KOFUGU 15, C-C 75,
RAPUNZEL 16, KHUMING ROUGE 39, SAM (visitor from Michigan who builds
cars) 2, SMIB 3, MORE-THAN-A-MOUTHFUL (birthday girl) 2, FREE-WILLY 4,
HEADSHOT 61, SHRUB (who took an early shower) 51, PRINCESS-B (birthday
boy) 43, GEKKO 4.

Next (this!) week is from Tsurukawa on the Odakyu-sen and we are
expecting great things from the hares FUGU and Tx-T-BAG (again). See
you there!
