Sumo ###99.1a(incremental). 6th Feb, '05 From/to: Kamata. Hares:
CHUCKY/BANANA-CEORGI (aka CKOC-SKOC/ BLUE-CRUSHED-ASIANS).
Apologies by co-hare who was bed-ridden with the flu. Get well soon.
Great trail lain by single hare led around Kamata temple, shrine and
grave complex on the hill above the town. And I am not sure how she
managed it, but the trail was an inwardly spiraling loop, much like an
inverted helix or black-hole. Apparently she wanted to show off all 7
temple gods, but her pantheon was truncated by memory laps of crucial
stairways. Nonetheless, there was no snaring and the pack of about a
dozen arrived home safely.
We had virgins: HANDS-SO-LOW from Samurai, GURU-GURU from Laidies, and
David a co-worker of STIFFY visiting from Nebraska (I think). 5-timer
was SLICE-GIRL who has naming option next time, 4th-timer Tamura-san as
yet lacking a name, and 10th-timer was STIFFY who got a coveted
100-timers patch for again whinging. It was a cold day so the circle,
like some body parts, was shortened and we soon took off early to the
party venue. News of T-shirts for "100th run" is that they are due
"soon". Views from the pack were "Black is nice" and "Anything except
black", so the decision is to mainly stick with Sumo Yellow.
