Date 10th April, 2005. From/to (eventurally): Kunitachi. Hare:
Princess-Bubbles. Helper: Saitama-Mama. Weather: fine but flowery.
An O-hana-mi special attracted 20 or so un-hungover hounds and a couple
of pups in pink (KoFugu & Puffer). The hare obiously had Spring in his
heart and springs in his soles because none came close to catching him.
Having hash flour the same colour as the drifting flower petals may, or
may not, have helped him evade capture. The route followed the
sakura-dori to a local uni campus before returning back for more
out-door festivals. On home, my pace-meter read 13.75 Km (although as
an inveterate shortcutter I may have done a bit more than most) and even
Khuming-Rouge's GPS batteries expired. So it was a trail long but
worthwhile - not least for sampling of TxTB's Becks at trail's end.
The circle up inclued Chucky-Chunda for being most jaded (81 runs).
Virgins/Visitors: Rump-Bumber, Just-Pat, and Sheer-XTC. Rapunzel earned
his 20th Timer patch and Khuming-Rouge rounded off at 44. Nominations
and Infractions were divers: e.g. NEW-SHOES for Ice-Delight and Just-Pat
who should have been warned by his mentor, TxTB; wearing pink by proxy
for Fugu and Up-Da-Ladder, and 69% pink platforms. Early leavers were
I-Moan, Tickle-My-Pink, Shrub, Ice-D, which left more suds for us when
Tight-Wad brought us to the Kamikaze brewery.
Next Week, Sunday 17th April is Samurai Family hash 2PM from Sobudai-mae
and next, next week 24th April is the BIG ONE....
Early start 12 NooN from East exit of JR Yokohama. Special event, come
prepared to be enthralled and entertained.
