World Hash Events: November 2009

Hashers,
It is almost spring for the southern hemisphere hashers, but the northern
hemi is in full swing in November, and Zurich will be running their 1st
Winterfest Hash. Warm weather still prevails for Borneo Nash and the Gulf
Rehydration run in Abu Dhabi. See all the events for November below. See

If anyone actually reads this far, I pose a question to the world of
hashing . . . Here in Germany, we have 7-8 hour days in the winter, and
17-18 hour days in the summer. Hard to hash in the evening when it gets
dark at 1630 and the temp is about 4 C out. But in the summer, there is
plenty of time, so I started this little thing called the DST H3
http://gotothehash.net/dsth3/ and we run on Tuesday evenings in the summer.
DST was my rather lack of imagination name for Daylight Savings Time, but I
think someone can come up with a better name than that. If you send your
suggestions directly back to me, I will post them for review for next month.
I am sure there will be some unfit to print, but keep it all in good fun.
As for the winter months, we may just have a social event meeting for dinner
somewhere, the pack is still thinking it over.
