Hello Everyone!
In an effort to gel together an increasingly large amount of information
regarding sustainabilty--both locally and globally--my wife and I have
started a 'blog' with a focus on the 'green' side of life. Yes, there
are several very popular sites of this nature available, but we thought
it might be great to push something with a local attitude, that
highlights many of the great events--and speakers--available to the
community.
We're also aiming to provide streaming video--especially in light of the
recent successes associated with the annual Green Homes Tour. We're
currently in the process of creating short educational vignettes on
homes using renewable or sustainable features. We feel this would be a
great way to expose people to ideas that they may have missed by not not
attending the Green Homes Tour. If you would like to be a part of this
video collage--or know someone that we could get in touch with--please
let me know!
We're starting out small, but hope this site can help lead to bigger
things down the road. If you have any suggestions, news items, or
comments, please let us know! We'll be pulling as much information from
this listserv as possible.
