TABI is moving! today!

Hi all,
Today I'm finally taking the steps to move the TABI list to a new home
which should be much more reliable, not intercepted by spam filters,
offer a few more features, and allow the Lighthouse to receive TABI
email directly.
You will not have to do anything to be moved to the new list, I will
handle that. However, you do need to pay attention to the instructions
below for updating your email package and mailing lists.
You should receive the text below, in an email, within the next few
hours, unless you've already signed up for the new list because you were
helping me test. If you don't receive this, say by the end of tomorrow,
please contact me.

You have been subscribed automatically since you have either been a
member of the original TABI list, or, you have sent a subscription
request to FreeLists.org, where TABI is hosted. If you feel an error
has been made, please contact the list owner, Chip Orange, at
acor-@comcast.net
This list is designed specifically to support those who are visually
impaired, or are involved with the visually impaired, of the Tallahassee
Florida region. Discussions on the list should be relevant to blindness
and/or issues specific to this region. there are many other lists for
general political, religious, or technology related discussions.
If you want to send a message to the entire list you should send it to
the address ta-@freelists.org
If you reply to a message on the list your reply will automatically be
sent to the entire list; if you want to send your reply privately to the
person who wrote a message on the list, you will need to choose
"forward" in your email package, and enter their address in the "to"
field.
It's important, as a person living in this area and who has a visual
impairment or works with those who do, to be a member of this list.
However, if you'd rather not be
subscribed, feel free to unsubscribe through the web interface, or by
sending email to the following address:
tabi-r-@freelists.org
with 'unsubscribe' in the Subject line.

Note to subscribers to TABI at the old, Topica.com, address: in order
to avoid continually having email errors because you accidentally sent a
message to the old TABI address, you will need to remove ta-@topica.com
from any mail groups you have created, or any entry you've added to your
email address book. Be careful even about email packages which try and
autocomplete the address for you after you type only a couple of
characters. Outlook does this, and if you start typing T A B and it
puts up ta-@topica.com, you can just press the delete key, and outlook
will remove that address from your autocomplete list.
