Swati,
WinAlign combines a source text with a target text in order to create a
memory so you can use what you have translated before in later translation
from the same customer. This means that you have one file in the source
language and at least one other file in a taget language.

Hi,

I need to do a project on WinAlign. Do I need to know both the languages
involved?
Is there a way, I can do the project accurately without knowing the target
language, and trusting WinAlign to do the required work correctly?

Sorry if this question sounded absolutely daft.. but, I am a greenhorn,
please bear up!

Thanks,
