Reactivating a deactivated macro  KarinGa-@aol.com
 Dec 01, 2002 07:34 PST
From a relative newcomer to Trados (at least I've never had this problem
before now):

What do you do if you get an error message in Word saying "the macro for
this project is deactivated"? The segments can be opened as normal, but
as soon as you edit the segment and want to close/move on, the error
message pops up. At the same time, the document cannot be closed.

I have been solving this problem until now by closing everything down
and re-starting the PC, but this is seriously stalling my work. I have
no idea how this happens, it is more or less random AFAIK.

I haven't got a clue about macros and the Help file doesn't mention them
at all.

Any ideas?

Grateful for any clues.
