Team,
The current forecast for Sunday at 1pm is about 55 degrees and a 30-40%
chance of showers. This comes from our local forecasters, however, so it
will likely be either sunny and 60 or snowing. I plan on doing the ride if
it's not raining, so I hope to see some of you there. Details are below:
Begin training for the Kansas City MS150 Bike Tour and meet some new friends
at the 2005 New Year's Day Kickoff Ride! Every year, members of the Bike
Tour planning committee and other cyclists from around the area gather at 1
p.m. on January 1 in the Longview Recreation Center parking lot (3801 SW
Longview Rd., Lee's Summit, MO). Pay attention to the weather forecast
because we won't ride if it drops below 32°. Distance and route will also be
determined by weather conditions. Join everyone for a brisk ride to start
the New Year right!
