Head bent over body
Like a willow over water
Such stars grieve whitely
Upon innocence
Hair-fall, hand-fall
The eyes scan the skin
Gravity maintains its sadness, quietly
The beloved lies still, cold
There is no wind
Why do these strands
of light sway?
Oh, the heart is an agony of quiet
Heavy in its thick, liquid fire
