Do You Want Acrylamide With Your Fries?

In recent times the American public has been exposed
to news and warnings regarding poisoning by terrorists.
We are faced with the horrible possibility of vaccinating
ourselves and our children against the once eliminated
disease, Small Pox. Along with these issues facing us
we have yet another poisoning concern, ACRYLAMIDE.

Acrylamide has been produced since the 1950s by
hydration of acrylonitrile. Actylonitrile a colorless liquid
also called propenonitrile or vinyl cyanide is used to
make acrylic resins. Acrylamide forms as a result of
unknown chemical reactions during high-temperature
BAKING or FRYING!

Well-known brands of snack chips and French fries contain
disturbingly high levels of Acrylamide, according to new
laboratory tests commissioned by the Center for Science
in the Public Interest (CSPI).

McDonald's French Fries, Burger King French Fries, KFC
Potato Wedges, Wendy's French Fries, Pringles Potato
Crisps, Fritos Corn Chips, Ore Ida French Fries (baked), are
just some on the test list having high content of Acrylamide.
(View website below for more details.)

At the end of last month the CSPI called on the FDA to do
further food testing after the CSPI received their findings from
tests they had commissioned. These tests were done by the
same Swedish government scientists who 2 months ago
revealed the presence of the cancer-causing Acrylamide in
fried and baked starchy foods.

Raw or even boiled potatoes test negative for the chemical.

Eating less greasy foods is an even larger concern now with
these findings yet the FDA has done nothing to advise
consumers of the noted dangers.

A California Lawyer has made a formal demand that
McDonalds and Burger King place cancer warning labels
on their French fries. They had till early July to respond.

CSPI has sent a letter to the FDA requesting more food
testing. To read this letter and further details view:

more technical understand of Acrylamide view:

MGN-3

Hello to All Subscribers!

The following is the first in a series of information
regarding Natural Cures for Cancer. In my research I have
found over 30 natural treatments. I will be featuring some
of these treatments each issue. These treatments are also
effective for many immune system conditions. If you have
family, friends or loved ones dealing with Cancer, or any
auto-immune illness please do them a favor, ask them to
subscribe to The PATH News.
mailto:subsc-@thepathnews.com

Be it AIDS, cancer, or other deadly and seemingly incurable
diseases, current research is confirming that therapies which
hold the greatest promise are the more natural, less toxic
ones that work in conjunction with the immune system.

Do you know about MGN-3? Well, if it were a drug it
would have been front page news. It has been silently under
wrap for a while now. But those who have found it say it has
done wonders for their condition. Yes, MGN-3 is an amazing
new supplement developed by Dr Ghoneum who works with
the Department of Immunology at Drew University in Los
Angeles, CA. You can read more about Dr Ghoneum on the
web site below.

The amazing thing about MGN-3 is that it's effective in all types
of Cancer. The Natural Killer Cells which make up roughly
15% of all human white blood cells are weakened in those with
Cancer and MGN-3 goes to work on these weak cells and
boosts and strengthens Natural Killer Cell activity.

Dr. Ghoneum has also worked with HIV-infected patients,
hepatitis, varieties B and C. Within one week to a month of
taking the product, all of the patients had experienced a
significant decrease in their symptoms.

Here's a list of the 'high risk categories' that Dr Ghoneum
claims can also benefit for MGN-3:

*Heavy smokers (those smoking two packs or more per day)
*Heavy drinkers
*Individuals who constantly work with paint
(artists, house painters, etc.)
*Individuals born with immune deficiencies
*Families with a strong history of cancer
*Chemical and refinery workers

MGN-3 written by Dr. David Williams from his newsletter,
Alternatives.

E. coli Scare Triggers Big Beef Recall

Instead of the usual 'Guest' article in this slot I have chosen to
place this website for you to read. It is a serious situation and I
suggest you read the article and check to see if your local super-
market is listed. ConAgra is a major supplier to restaurants,

Holistic Q&A

This month's questions:

Hi Margaret,

I am trying to find some information and facts about Fibromyalgia
for a friend of mine. I am hoping you would not mind sending me
something on the topic. Thanks, Noreen

----

What do you make of all the people (women especially) who have
Fibromyalgia? Its an epidemic. I belong to a support group and if I
mention that I have Fibromyalgia I can usually count on two to
three, many times more, women telling me after the mtg that they
too also suffer from it. A friend and I both have it and we discuss
the various possible causes, trauma, stress-overload etc,
environmental, but a large portion of the women who have it, are,
or have been on anti- depressants before they were diagnosed
like myself. I was on them for many years before being diagnosed.
I never had it until 2 years ago. It is no joke, and its not in our
heads either. Its a painful condition and they have no idea what or
where it stems from? I know its an old disease, and I do feel like
its a disease despite what the docs say about being a syndrome.
what do you think causes it and what herbs can help?
Thanks, Anonymous

Responses:

Dear Anon.,

Fibromyalgia results mainly from chronic fatigue. The herbs that I
recommend are :
a) MoveFree Capsules - This supplement is made from herbs
that will help you to alleviate all the arthritic and rheumatoid
pains in your body. It will also help you to improve upon your
hypo-thyroidal condition.
Read more at : http://www.herbscancure.com/arthritis-relief.htm
Dosage : 1 capsule twice a day for 45-60 days.

b) MuktaVati Tablets - Muktavati is a unique formula for all kinds
of stress, headaches, Sclerosis and Chronic fatigue symptoms.
It has valuable herbs like Brahmi, Ashwagandha which have been
recommended for Fibromyalgia and will serve as a nervine tonic.
It also helps to regulate high blood pressure (if any).

Dosage : 2 tablets twice a day for at least 30 days
http://www.herbscancure.com/bloodpressure.htm

Essential oils of jasmine, lemon balm, rosemary, and clary sage
relieve nervous exhaustion and may be used in aromatherapy.
Place several drops in a warm bath or atomizer, or on a cotton
ball, and inhale.

Hope this helps

Dear Noreen and Anonymous,

The Ayurvedic herbs Puneet mentioned above are worth
looking into. Many people find they have remarkable results
with Ayurveda medicine. The oils can be found in your health
food store.

I have also added links to information that can answer some
of your questions about Fibromyalgia. The use of Vitamin C is
discussed.

I believe diet has a lot to do with controlling this disease and
hopefully in the future there will be a better understanding of
how it develops. Harsh drugs most times come with side
effects. These side effects can emerge right away or months
later...sometimes they are never connected to the drug
one is taking. Be more aware of your body and start co-doctoring
with your physician. If you feel you can't tell your doctor that
you are trying an alternative approach to your condition, it's time
to find a new doctor.

Here is some more info for those dealing with Fibromyalgia.

Greetings Human Friends.....Is Your Pet Overweight?

While glancing over my left shoulder, eyeing a fast paced gecko
scurrying across our patio I caught a glimpse of my lower end.
Wow, seems there's a few more inches there then I recall. Just
like you humans us dogs and cats have weight problems,
which can lead to serious illness.

Here are a couple of website that will help you decide if your fury
darlings are too plump. Can you find their ribs? Find out what is
considered too fat, how to cut calories, create good nutrition,
increase activity, all with a natural approach.

Well that's it for now, time to gnaw on my morning carrot. Yum!
