Hi everybody.
This email discussion group is about to change host services.
In the next day or so we'll be leaving topica.com and going to a
much better list service that is sponsored by ValleyNet. As a
subscriber you will only need to change the address you send your
postings to. When the new list is activated, I'll send you
another notice with the new address.
There shouldn't be any disruption in delivery of postings to you.
If you forget and send a posting to the topica list, it's my
intention to intercept it and send it back to you for reposting on
the new list service. In the meantime, until you hear from me
again, keep sending your postings to the topica address. They'll
be delivered.
IMPORTANT NOTE:
If your computer or your Internet service provider uses spam
filtering software -- if you're a ValleyNet user, then that means
you -- you'll need to make sure that your settings allow delivery
from the new list service. That means you'll need to enter
"lists.valley.net" as a domain from which you will accept
delivery.
Unfortunately this has become a problem for email lists. I've
had a number of reports of delivery from the topica list being
blocked by spam filtering. If you're a ValleyNet user, go to
the ValleyNet home page and follow the links for email filtering
to learn how to change your settings.
