Thunderhawk Enterprises, Inc. is a non-profit volunteer organization founded by Ray Thunderhawk which is dedicated to the preservation of the "great" cats. "Big Cat Rescue", our primary focus, is manifested on an individual basis in the rescue of cats from life-threatening situations (e.g. where they would be killed or euthanized), and on a grander scale in the conservation and eventual propagation of the many great cat species. We are on a mission - a mission to preserve these magnificent animals and their habitat before their light is extinguished from the Earth. Many of the great cat species are at least threatened; some are critically endangered, like the largest cat on Earth, the Siberian Tiger, whose numbers are down to a mere few hundred remaining in the wild.
