Andy - Web Hosts  Brett Conrad

I agree more than ever with your statement about webhosts.

I am firing up a personal site so I can have control over my "e-mail
address" (free e-mail service giving me problems).

The problem is the hosting company doesn't seem to understand the
importance of consistency. The first day I had use of my site the
website and e-mail went down several times. This makes me nervous about
the companies attitude toward the value of my site.

I think redundancy or dedicated hosting is the solution. However,
dedicated hosting is too expensive for most people "working on the side"
. Redundancy is the better answer.

Take care,

Brett
