This mailing list is meant to foster communication regarding race information, carpooling, pre-race strategy discussion and post-race reports among the members of UBC's women's team.
Though only 2 years old, the UBC women's cycling team has become a tour d' force in the Pacific Northwest racing scene, as well as a recognized contender in national races. Our women's and men's teams are based in Seattle. We support all categories of women's and men's road racing, from beginner to elite. Our riders train and race as a team, creating a supportive and encouraging environment for the realization of both team and individual goals.
As a racing team, we focus on the development of racing skills, fitness, and spirit. However, we strive for balance in our lives, on and off the bike. We are active in the local cycling community, supporting women's racing, fund raising, advocacy, and junior development. |
