Alert: IBM Jobs Cuts Looming

Dear Traven Leyshon,
Job cuts are taking place in the Software Group today, June 17.
Sources tell the Alliance that 300 employees will receive resource action
packages. It is rumored that 90% of those employees being targeted are 45
years of age or older.
More terminations and mass firings are rumored to be imminent in
Burlington, VT and East Fishkill, NY. If you would like to
participate in a picket line at either of these 2 sites, let us
know.
