about the oracle database design

hello,
My dear frinds! I appreciated for the help from you firstly. My
team designed and implemented the web system named EIPOA in a Chinese
auto company. The following is the enviorment of it:
Database: Oracle 9.0.2.4
Develompent Tools:Microsoft Visual Studio 2002
The OS of Application Server: Windows advanced server2000
This system constructed by one application server( IBM PC
server, 2cpu) and one database server (IBM server with AIX OS) and
provide service for about 6,000 users.
We will reconstruct it to enhance the performance of the whole
system. Now we need help about the following topic:
1. The database design of the enterprise system with much more
user (above 10,000).
2. The comunication between oracle databases including data
replication and etc.
3. The physical design of the oracle database.
4. ... ...
