1. quick intro since i dont recognize any of you other than Ivan,
im from the mad-scientists camp out of SFBayArea,
and would like to do some HypKnowTronic experiments
at the science fair (http://www.1sky.com/hkt ) with
some subliminial message and the like.
2. i've had plans to build a "human puppet" rig,
using a climbing harness, and a bunch of those muscle
stim machines. the test subject gets in the harness,
puts the pads on the legs and arms, and is then hoisted
up a few feet to be dangling above the ground. all
the muscle stims are then wired to a central control
console where the experimentor can pulse the pads
making the victim "dance". ive got one somewhere,
and if i can round up a few more, (the more the better)
the more motions could be done. anyone know where
to get more? borrow? buy? scavenge? (no, new ones
are not a budget option unless someone gives me a budget!)
i can always just use neon transformers on variacs,
but that would be only for the strong-constitution
subjects. if i have the time, ill sew up a harness that
has the pads built in, so subject switch time can be minimal.
3. can i ask that the messages sent to this list
NOT include HTML? and that folks try to trim off
the reply quoted text as much as possible? i still
use (gasp!) 14.4 modem occasionally and get the digest
version, so low character count is appreciated.
sounds like a great idea for a party, count me
in for some gear and effort, and hopefully a
proper mad-science-fair project!
