What is the purpose of the file SEARCHLIST.TXT ?

When auditing the pull down menu's in wined I notice this entry
Edit SEARCHLIST.TXT
Which is found by clicking on Search
in the tool bar on top of wined.
Clicking on it gives me the opportunity to create a file named SEARCHLIST.TXT
What is the purpose of this?
