I guess the "crowning blow" was the not to well understood remark which was
actually about the Middle East; in the U.S., there is so little knowledge
that the media feels comfortable to provide us on this which leads to the
remark being incomprehendable and the one who made it to, perhaps, not know
what the basis or target really is.
But this and all non-Win32Forth things belong on another venue and
especially so for the commercial spam. So I am in favor of the Alex
McDonald proposal.

Subject: [win32forth] Spam on the newsgroup
There's an increasing amount of spam on the group, some of it highly
offensive. I am proposing the following change;
. that only memebers be permitted to post
This will be the _only_ change; membership will still be open. It
will allow us to ban spammers that join, and as most automatic
spammers don't join, should reduce significantly the amount we get.
Please let me know your feelings on this.
