.. I was lying in a CICU hooked up to dozens of machines, tubes coming out of everywhere, having had just been cut almost in half.
It is hard to imagine myself that way now. I have such a good life. I feel as healthy as everyone else (or at least I think I do!). I go on vacations whenever I can afford it, I run around with 19 month old twins almost daily, I go to concerts and clubs and museums. I have seen my family change and my friends grow. Not everything has been good or easy, but I have been lucky enough see things change and have figured out a way to laugh through most of it.
And I breath through it all.
