Dear Readers,
No more AutoCAD for me. I found an alternative for
AutoCAD. Much better. I'm now working with that
alternative.
I found IntelliCAD. Very much the same as AutoCAD. But
there is a difference. The price. IntelliCAD is far
less expensive.
I don't know about the prices of AutoCAD. In your
country. But this is how it is. The price of IntelliCAD
is a fraction of the price of AutoCAD.
There are two versions of AutoCAD. There is AutoCAD
Lite and there is the full version. AutoCAD Lite is for
2D. The full version is for 3D.
In IntelliCAD you find two versions that are an
alternative for AutoCAD. You've got the Standard
version and the Pro Plus version.
Here are the prices of IntelliCAD. That is the
IntelliCAD of Autodsys from Portland in Oregon. I'm
their dealer for Malaysia and Singapore.
Program Price
IntelliCAD Standard $ 149
IntelliCAD Pro Plus $ 349
Do you agree? That's far less expensive than AutoCAD.
Sure. You can take my word for it. But you want to find
out for yourself. You can. Download the IntelliCAD
program from the web site of Autodsys.
This is their web site:
http://www.autodsys.com
Download the program. Put it on your computer. You can
work with it right away. Same commands as AutoCAD. And
that is the best part.
In IntelliCAD you create exactly the same drawings as
you do in AutoCAD. IntelliCAD drawings have the DWG
format. That's the AutoCAD format.
In fact. You can open any AutoCAD drawing in
IntelliCAD. Whether that drawing was created in AutoCAD
14, AutoCAD 2000, or AutoCAD 2007.
OK. You've tried out IntelliCAD. And now you want to
buy the program. Have I got a good deal for you. You
can get a discount of 10%.
Write an e-mail to Autodsys. Tell them I send you
there. And they will give you instructions on how to
get the 10$ discount.

Something else. I stopped with the ACAD Newsletter. Now
I have created the IntelliCAD Newsletter. There is a lot
of good stuff in the newsletter.
In each issue you'll find an article about an
IntelliCAD command. In it you'll also find places where
you can find free stuff.
You can use the free stuff for AutoCAD. You can also
use the free stuff for IntelliCAD. So if you keep on
using AutoCAD ...
The IntelliCAD Newsletter has got its own web site.
From the web site you can download PDF files. With a
lot of information about IntelliCAD.
If you want to subscribe. Send a blank e-mail to:

Looking forward to seeing you as a new subscriber
