~ TODAY’S AIRFARE TIP

SHOULD YOU BUY YOUR AIRLINE TICKET AT HOME?
(International)

Greetings from Ghent, Belgium!
My friend Pascal ask me a good question,

“I’m going to fly to Australia next March, and then from
Australia to Asia. Should I buy the ticket from Australia
to Asia here in Belgium, or would it be better to buy it in Australia?”

Very difficult to answer.

My answer was that I think there is more competition for this
route in Australia. So it would maybe be better to buy there.
But am I correct, or am I wrong?
If you wanted to do the same thing from Brazil, I would say to him
to buy the ticket in Belgium. But I know Brazil, and understand
there system of airlines, and feel better about giving this type
of advice. The cost difference for tickets could be hundreds of dollars.
So this is not an easy question, and should not be taken lightly.

I told him I had a trusted friend in Australia that could answer the
question, and I would email him. When I said “Trusted Friend”, I was
talking about a friend that would really try to answer the question.
I have collected hundreds of email address’s in the last 3 years, so
I can ask real people these questions, and help my friend Pascal.

Now the tip!
The only person that know this answer correctly is:
1. A person in Australia,
2. Maybe an Australia website.
3. Message board or Forum on Australia

I would not trust your travel agent.
People mean well, and want to help, but bad advice can cost the
person hundreds of dollars. I will do ALL of the above
to help my friend Pascal.
