SLEEP ON THE PLANE
I just finished 3 years in Central & South America.
Now I am in Europe.
One of the most common budget travel tips is to
take the overnight bus. Long trips for me go faster when
I sleep all night on the bus, and I save paying for one night hotel.
I often say the cheapest hotel in Venezuela is the bus.
This idea applies for airplanes also.
I would always recommend the budget traveler take the
night airplane. You will arrive in the new city early in the morning,
and save the cost of a hotel room for one night.
Plus it is safer to arrive in the morning.
