As some of you know, in Louisiana...when times get tough someone will
hold a benefit dance and EVERYONE attends!
Well one of our own, Dexter Ardoin has come upon tough
times...yesterday, not more than 30 minutes from Ginny's house. The
TRANSMISSION blew on Dexter's vehicle. This has set him back (on
the beginning) of his tour $1900+ !!!!! The van had to be towed to
Ginny's and is now in the shop, thankfully the repairs will be done in
time for him to head down to the Surf Club on Thursday and be back on
Friday for the TK and then off to Rhode Island.
I know a lot of dancers are headed to RI for the weekend and will miss
this band at the TK, but in light of this situation....Ginny has decided
to throw a *HOUSE PARTY* on Wednesday, 2-23. You all know the drill.
$10 + grub + BYOB. (this will give you the opportunity to see and hear
this band twice!!!)
Please come out to help defer some of our friends unexpected expense.
Let's face it, at one time or another something like this has happened
to each of us.
