| Purpose: | ===================================== The ASTRO-WEATHER mailing list ===================================== ASTRO-WEATHER, a moderated mailing list, has been setup for discussion and the exchange of information and techniques used in astro-meteorology. Astro-meteorology is the study of methods used to forecast long-range weather patterns based on the movement and positions of the planets. Meteorology is limited to the study of temperature, air, wind, and moisture patterns in the sky and is generally focused on the short term forecast. Astro-meteorology, on the other hand, can provide forecasts months, years, decades, and even centuries in advance. Some possible topics for discussion: o The Ingress, Eclipse, and Lunation charts and how they are used to forecast weather o Planetary combinations that result in particular weather events o The symbolism of the Zodiacal signs on the chart angles as it relates to weather conditions o Local, national, and global weather forecasting o Research methods o New books, urls, ideas, suggestions. Mail volume is expected to be moderately low, but if you prefer to receive the list's messages in digest form.
