=v= According to today's _Farley_ cartoon, by far the most
famous name suggested for the rebuilt Bay Bridge is the
Emperor Norton Bridge:

Let's not forget that Norton -- the only monarchist whose
authority *I* would recognize -- was a bicyclist. Surely
he would want the Emperor Norton Veloway to extend all the
