"Emperor Norton Bridge" in Recent _Farley_ Comic Strips  Jym Dyer

=v= Recent _Farley_ comic strips have taken up the cause of
having the Bay Bridge renamed in honor of Joshua Norton (who,
as Emperor, decreed that the bridge be built):

=v= I would like to remind everyone that the good Emperor was
a bicyclist, and would surely have insisted on bike access.
Indeed, I can only conclude that he didn't spell this out in
his decree because it was unimaginable to bar bicycles from
this bridge!

=v= If the bridge doesn't get renamed, then at least the path
across it should: the Emperor Norton Veloway.
