Working 40 hours plus per week and trying to raise a family, manage a
home and pursue other interests can really be a challenge. The worse
thing is many times our jobs don’t pay us what we want or need. And,
more money often means more time away from our families and the things
we love to do.
Recently, I have joined a team of Moms who work together to provide
support and training to other Moms or anyone who would like to make a
real income from home. I’m so thankful for this group. And now I am
able to help other busy women balance their lives even more by teaching
them how they can build and income at home.
If you would like more information on how I can help you please visit

the form. Thank you.

Notes from Dietta…
Hello Ladies! I am so excited! The Balance Boosters subscriber list
is growing by leaps and bounds. We are at 353! I am thankful for each
of you and I welcome every one who is new and I applaud and thank all of
my “original” subscribers. It means so much to me to have you on this
list in a world of fair weather people I count each of you a treasure.
If you have tried to go to my Balance Boosters website I apologize for
the inconvenience. My web host has had hardware problems and my site
has been unavailable for most of May and now into June. I have been in
the process of trying to switch things around but I am not sure how long
this will take.
The Women in Balance discussion group has been dissolved due to lack of
participation. I wanted to get to know you all better but I realize
that many are very busy and maybe just no interested in being involved
in such a group. I accept this and move on.
May was a busy month. And June doesn’t look like it will be any less
busy, but I am thankful. I am busy doing things I want to be doing!
This month I felt impressed to write about…Men. I hope you will enjoy.

Dealing With the Men in Our Life

When my Dad picked up my daughters to spend the week with him, I
thought my stress level would go way down.
It didn’t.
Now I realize that sometimes a big part of my stress comes from my dear
and loving husband! :-)
Husbands. Brothers. Fathers. Bosses. Men.
Since time began I believe women have been challenged by the concept of
dealing with the men in our lives. We struggle with feeling whole
without one. And, we struggle to maintain our identity with one. We
long for the love and acceptance of our fathers. And, we fight for our
independence.
We seek the blessing of our brothers. And, we try to let go when they
leave us. We work hard for the praise of our bosses. And, we pray for
the day we don’t have one!

Side Note: I know that we may have women bosses, but dealing with them
is a whole other article :-)

In whatever capacity, dealing with the men in our lives is a challenge.
Quite honestly, there are many times I don’t want to deal with the men
in my life. Period. I feel they should be able to deal with whatever it
is on their own.
The stress and struggle of our schedules can cause us to want to push
our men to the back burner and tend to the “more pressing needs.”
Husbands; fathers; brothers; bosses; men; can seem like just one more
thing on our to do list.
Truthfully, I don’t have all the answers to dealing with the men in our
lives. In fact, I am always open to suggestions. But one thing I have
learned that works is prayer.
On a clear beautiful night a couple of weeks ago my husband and I
walked out into the back yard to talk. I had something I wanted to tell
him but I did not want young ears to hear. After we talked we joined
hands and did something we hadn’t done in a long time; we prayed. That
moment is one that I will remember for years to come because the wind
blew over us gently as if The God we were praying to was breathing his
love down on us.
The supernatural power of prayer will heal the wounds of a hurting soul
and it will bring balance to a burnt out and stressed out relationship.
Try it.
