I took a look at these, and like concepts #2 and #5 (and #5 probably is best),
but would like to see the marked bicycle space used for 8 more seats
per car, and have the bicycle space be in the center of the car. a
couple of the drawings show horizontal leaning bars in the center of
the car, and having the bike space be next to them would, in my
opinion, be more desireable then the current lean against the wall
space, and would give room for 8 more seats for a total of 60. Given
the length of the rides on BART, I think more seats are highly
desireable. And being able to actually bungy your bike would be good.
