Re: Progress on new Berkeley Bike Station? and kudos to SCVTA  Phil Morton

I suspect it's easy for us to underestimate the work
that architects and planners have to do. We were
told that they see Bike To Work Day as a drop dead date.

I asked Berkeley staff about the bike station move at a meeting last

(Could have fooled me!)

Audio somewhere in here, sorry I don't have the time to provide a
time stamp, but it's early in the meeting:

 Hi,
What's the current official status of the new Berkeley Bike Station?
Nothing seems to be happening at the site, 2210 Shattuck, I think?

And I was on the SCVTA 181, Fremont BART to San Jose, the other
day, and
the driver was very courteous when checking to see if there was space
for a couple of bikes inside, since the rack was full, and allowed
them in. Good for them.
