Re: Progress on new Berkeley Bike Station?  Scott Mace

I guess I have growing concern that this project will end up late
and/or over budget. I put the question to BART officials last week,
and have yet to hear an answer.

Remember that the lease on the new Berkeley bike station was signed
on July 1, 2009 and that BART's been paying rent for that space ever
since. Doug Faunt is right to be wondering exactly what's going on. I
am wondering too.

I asked Berkeley staff about the bike station move at a meeting last

rapid rate.

(Could have fooled me!)

Audio somewhere in here, sorry I don't have the time to provide a
time stamp, but it's early in the meeting:

 Hi,
What's the current official status of the new Berkeley Bike Station?
Nothing seems to be happening at the site, 2210 Shattuck, I think?
