Hi,
I have been able to setup the GIFT and play with it. I would like to
know more about the inverted file system that has been used. I read Dr.
Wolfgang's PHD thesis, but couldn't completely understand this mehtod.
My task is to: run gift on 30,000 odd images and have a 30,000 by (say)
2000 matrix in which each row has the first element as the query and the
rest are the top 2000 (1999) images retrived by gift(in order). Can this
be done in an automatic fashion? I guess the key to that lies in the
inverted files, hence this mail.
