Dear All,
A special invited session on Benchmarking is being planned for the forthcoming
Visual Information Conference 04 to be held in Sep 8-10 in San Francisco.

I would like to invite you to send me papers describing your work for
presentation and publication. Your work on the Benchmarking effort will be
particularly welcome. However, papers dealing with other aspects of visual
imformation research are also welcome. If you intend to do so, please let me
know. I will need to receive the papers by 14 June.
