Dear All:
Please note the appeal from the Palestinian International campaign to end the siege on Gaza. I have spoken to them; they are asking if groups around the world (including Britain) can organise vigils on Monday 16 June 2008 in solidarity with the Gazan Fishermen. I t could be some thing as simple as sounding a horn or banging a drum with placards. It will be great if groups in cities with docks can do some thing.

A Quest for Freedom
The Palestinian International Campaign to End the Siege on Gaza is planning to organize an action day entitled 'A Quest for Freedom'. This event is intended to highlight the impact of the Israeli siege on fishermen and sea life.
Activities will be carried out by fishermen in Gaza and we hope in different docks all around the world in solidarity.
The action day will take place at Gaza Port on Monday 16 June 2008 from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m.
We urge Palestinian NGO's and International NGO's to participate and contribute in this event..
Please express your solidarity with the people in Gaza and its fishermen in their event 'A Quest for Freedom'.
