New Lent Devotional on Bible Stories for Adults Web-site

Lent is just a couple of weeks away.
Lent (from the Old English word lengten, meaning season of spring) is
the time we prepare ourselves to recall the great sacrifice Jesus made
for us as He carried out the Father’s plan of redemption to give us the
great undeserved gift of eternal life with Him.
In the fourth and fifth centuries, Lent was a period of 40 days of
retreat where new Christians prepared themselves for being baptized on
Easter, just as Jesus prepared for His ministry for 40 days in the
wilderness. The rest of the Christians supported them during this time
through prayer and fasting.
A new devotional study is now available for you to use to prepare
yourself to support bringing new Christians into the Body of Christ.
This new devotional is a free download on the Bible Stories for Adults

The Each One Reach One Lent Devotional includes studies for every day
from Ash Wednesday through Easter Saturday designed to teach you how to
share your faith with others.
The devotional is available in two pdf (Adobe Acrobat) versions. One
has its pages in an order so that they can be printed out double-sided
in Landscape mode on 8.5x11 paper so that the pages can then be folded
together to produce a book. The other has all of the days in
Chronological order.

corner of the table of studies. Click on one of the links and you will
have the devotional.
